Tradeshow General Information
1. Event Dates: Thursday, April 19, 2012 and Friday, April 20, 2012
2. Event Location: Embassy Suites (Portland Airport) in Portland, Oregon.
3. Hotel Accommodations: Discounted overnight rooms are available. The phone number for hotel reservations is (503) 460-3000. Single/Double occupancy rate of $109. Be sure to tell them you are with "ONABEN" at the time of your reservation in order to receive the group rate. You have until Wednesday, March 28, 2012 to reserve your room at this rate.
4. Event Type: Conference and Trade Show. The trade show will be one part of the overall event, along with general sessions, workshops, roundtables, and an evening reception.
5. Event Organizer:
ONABEN – A Native American Business Network, is a non-profit, public-benefit corporation created by Northwest Indian Tribes to increase the success of private businesses owned by Native Americans. ONABEN offers training and support focused on developing entrepreneurship in Indian communities.
6. Attendee Information: Conference attendees are Native American business owners, representatives from tribal departments and enterprises, tribal governments, financial institutions, and state, federal and other public agencies.
7. Vendor Space: Vendors will be provided with an eight-foot, skirted “Table Top” display space and two chairs. A sign with your company name, as provided on the registration form, will also be located in the space. Vendors are welcome to bring backdrops, displays or any other materials as appropriate to an eight-foot table. Additional space may be purchased and must be asked for ahead of time.
8. Set-Up and Removal of Displays: Vendors are required to set up and remove their display during the following hours ONLY:*
• Set-Up: Wednesday, April 18, 2012 between 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm
• Removal: Friday, April 20, 2012 between 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
* All other arrangements must be pre-approved by ONABEN staff.
9. Exhibit Hours: The exhibit area will be open from:
• Thursday, April 19, 2012 between 8:00 am – 7:30 pm (Includes evening reception 6 pm -7:30 pm)
• Friday, April 20, 2012 between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
10. Conference Participation: Vendors wanting to participate in the conference must fill out a separate conference registration form.
11. Types of Products and Services: Exhibitor products and services must be of interest to community development and small business owners. ONABEN reserves the right to refuse any application.
ONABEN invites small business owners offering any type of product or service to participate in the trade show. However, please note that food items cannot be sold unless commercially packaged in sealed containers and food items cannot be served, no exceptions.
12. Security: Security will not be available. Vendors are responsible for securing display items and personal belongings. ONABEN, Embassy Suites, and their staff, volunteers, and representatives are not responsible or liable for lost or stolen items. The trade show area will be locked at all times when the exhibit area is closed. A waiver and release of liability must be signed upon check-in.
13. Deadlines: Registration forms must be returned to ONABEN for consideration. Payment must accompany registration forms. One form per business/organization; photocopies accepted. Ads are due in our office by March 23, 2012 and must be camera ready. Ads should be formatted as 3 5/8”w x 2 1/8”h, 300ppi, TIFF or JPEG format. Donated giveaway items are due Thursday, April 19, 2012.

14. Cancellation Policy: You must call (503) 968-1500 or (800) 854-8289 to cancel your registration. A $50.00 processing fee will be withheld from all refunds. REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN AFTER MARCH 31, 2012.

Embassy Suites (Portland Airport) is fully ADA compliant, you can book a handicap accessible room.
